Black History Bingo

Here's a great bingo set for the classroom, diversity activity or diversity moment in the workplace, or Kwanzaa celebration!

What a great way to learn more about famous African Americans and the struggle of African Americans for equality in the United States. Our Black History Bingo Game contains more than just pictures. There are pictures and names of famous or influential African Americans, but there are also important court cases and pieces of legislation, as well as questions that are designed to expand the knowledge of children or adults who play this game. There are quotes by famous African Americans and even a few questions that are just for fun. The game can be used as a quiz (squares can only be covered if the player can correctly answer the question, etc.) or as a launching pad for a discussion about the calling piece that is drawn. It's up to your choice. Just decide upon the size and style of the set you would like to purchase, and click on either the Black History Month bingo card or the link below.

If this game doesn't suit your needs, take a look at our African American Success Stories Bingo Game. We think that this game is unique! It lists the names of notable, and not so-well-known, African Americans who have led successful lives and/or made great changes to our society.

Whether or Not to Laminate the Game:

Fully laminated cards and pieces. Each bingo card and piece is laminated front and back. What distinguishes this bingo set from others that you’ve seen is that it has a thick lamination like the one most commercial lamination machines provide. This bingo set will last for years to come. Non-laminated cards and pieces. This set is printed on hard card stock. It’s very colorful and fairly tough considering there is no lamination.

What Size Best Suits Your Needs:

10 Card Bingo Set: Enough to play with a small group. 10 bingo cards.

20 Card Bingo Set: The right size for a medium group or school class. 20 bingo cards.

36 Card Set: The best size for a large group or meeting. 36 bingo cards.

All sets include a multiple page information package for the questions included in the game, cover pieces, and a set of tokens.
