If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes - Mark 9:23

He is able to save completely all who come to God through Him" (Heb. 7:25, Living Translation). And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus  - I Timothy 1:14.

He is able to help those who are tempted" (Heb. 2:18, rsv).

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first  - I Thessalonians 4:16.

He is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me" (2 Tim. 1:12, rsv).

And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. - Deuteronomy 6:5

Beatitudes

Matthew 5:

  • Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Verse 3)
  • Blessed are the meek: for they shall posses the land. (Verse 4)
  • Blessed are they who mourn: for they shall be comforted. (Verse 5)
  • Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill. (Verse 6)
  • Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. (Verse 7)
  • Blessed are the clean of heart: for they shall see God. (Verse 8)
  • Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. (Verse 9)
  • Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Verse 10)

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

The Twenty Third Psalm

The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green Pastures, he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake,

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me, thy rod and staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
