Diversity Moments Bingo
This bingo game is an excellent diversity training tool. It can
be played in a short period of time and is a great way to discuss the issues of
diversity and inclusion in a non-threatening way. The "caller" or moderator
draws the questions that are listed on the cards out of a bowl or other
container. The first player that correctly responds to the question can cover
the square. The questions help the players learn more about other groups,
consider how their own racial, gender, or cultural makeup impacts how they
respond to others, and learn to interact with others in a respectful and
tolerant manner. All of our diversity training tools promote the idea that
learning more about and respecting the differences in others are the
cornerstones for acceptance.
All sets include cover pieces, and a set of
tokens. There is also a 7 page information sheet for the questions included in
the game. The information sheet is intended to be used as a springboard to
search for additional information on each individual, event, holiday, or topic
that is listed in the game.
The Diversity Moment Bingo game is available in a variety of
sizes and styles. Here's what you need to decide before placing your order.
Whether or Not to
Laminate
the Game:
Fully laminated cards and pieces.
Each bingo card and piece is laminated front and back. What distinguishes this
bingo set from others that you’ve seen is that it has a thick lamination like
the one most commercial lamination machines provide. This bingo set will last
for years to come.
Non-laminated cards and pieces.
This set is printed on 110 pound hard card stock. It’s very colorful and fairly
tough considering there is no lamination.
What size best suits your needs:
10 Card
(At-Home) Bingo Set: Enough to play with a small group. 10 bingo
cards.
20 Card
(Small Class) Bingo Set: The right size for a small class or at a
meeting. 20 bingo cards
36 Card (Large
Class) Bingo Set: The best size for a large group or at a meeting.
36 bingo cards.
All sets include a multiple page information packet for the
questions included in the game, cover pieces, and a set of tokens.
Overhead transparencies of the calling
cards and instructions are available with these bingo games.
