Diversity Bingo, Diversity Flashcards, and Diversity Training Materials

Diversity Bingo Games

All of the diversity bingo games, diversity flashcards, and diversity training tools promote the idea that learning more about and respecting the differences in others are the cornerstones for acceptance and tolerance. Each game is fun to play and can be completed in a short time. Here is a list of our current offerings:

Diversity Moments Bingo: This diversity bingo game is an excellent diversity activity or diversity training tool. It can be played in a short period of time and is a great way to discuss the issues of diversity and inclusion in a non-threatening way. The "caller" or moderator draws the questions that are listed on the cards out of a bowl or other container. The first player that correctly responds to the question can cover the square. The questions help the players learn more about other groups, consider how their own racial, gender, or cultural makeup impacts how they respond to others, and learn to interact with others in a respectful and tolerant manner.

Black History Bingo: Here's a great diversity bingo game for the classroom, diversity activity or diversity moment in the workplace, or Kwanzaa celebration! It's a great way to learn more about famous African Americans and the struggle of African Americans for equality in the United States. Our Black History Bingo Game contains more than just pictures. There are pictures and names of famous or influential African Americans, but there are also important court cases and pieces of legislation, as well as questions that are designed to expand the knowledge of children or adults who play this game. There are quotes by famous African Americans and even a few questions that are just for fun. The game can be used as a quiz (squares can only be covered if the player can correctly answer the question, etc.) or as a launching pad for a discussion about the calling piece that is drawn. It's up to your choice. Click on the Black History Bingo title to see an example from the Black History Bingo game.

Hispanic Heritage Bingo: Here's a great diversity bingo game to play for National Hispanic American History Month, an office meeting "diversity moment", or as a way to begin a classroom discussion about the history and heritage of the Hispanic members of our society. It's designed to be fun and informative. Included are interesting facts about Latin American, South American, or other regions of the world from which the Hispanic members of our society trace their roots. Also included are facts about successful Hispanic individuals.

Kwanzaa Bingo: The Kwanzaa Bingo game can be used in several settings. Of course, it is a wonderful game to play during the 7 days of Kwanzaa. What a better way to spend time with friends and family, while at the same time discussing the importance of the holiday. But the Kwanzaa Bingo game can be used for another purpose as well. I learned so much while researching and designing this game! It includes information about the holiday, the Karamu program, words and symbols that are associated with the holiday, and what is celebrated on each of the seven days of Kwanzaa.  Click on the Kwanzaa Bingo title to see an example from the Kwanzaa Bingo game.

American Women Success Stories Diversity Bingo Game: This set has recently been revised to be played in a question and answer format. The Women in American History Bingo set is designed to inform and entertain. There are quotations, questions, and facts about women who have led the way to equality and made valuable contributions to our society. Click on the Women in American History title to see an example from the Women in American History bingo game.

Success Stories Diversity Bingo Sets. These diversity bingo games are unique. They contain the names of notable, and not so-well-known, Americans who have led successful lives and/or made great changes to our society. These diversity bingo sets are designed to focus on the positive contributions of courageous people. It can be used to spark interesting discussions in classrooms and diversity programs, as well as informing people about great strides that have been made by others.  The following games have been included in this series:

African American Success Stories Diversity Bingo Game

Asian American Success Stories Diversity Bingo Game

American Women Success Stories Diversity Bingo Game

Hispanic American Success Stories Diversity Bingo Game

Diversity Flashcard Sets

Don't have time to play the one of the diversity bingo games? Here's an alternative. Try using one of the diversity flashcard sets. They are an excellent way to incorporate a  diversity moment activity during your next meeting. They are also excellent diversity training tools.

There is a corresponding flashcard set for each of the diversity bingo games:

Diversity Moment Flashcards

Black History Flashcards

African American Success Stories Flashcards

Hispanic Heritage Flashcards

Hispanic American Success Stories Flashcards

Asian American Success Stories Flashcards

American Women Success Stories Flashcards

Here are the choices you have when ordering a flashcard set or bingo game:

Whether or Not to Laminate the flashcard set or bingo game:

Fully laminated cards and pieces. Each flashcard or bingo card and piece is laminated front and back. The thick lamination is like the one most school lamination machines provide. These sets are a great addition to a corporate diversity package. They should last for years to come.

Non-laminated sets and cards. These flashcards or bingo cards are printed on 110 pound hard card stock. They are very colorful and fairly tough considering there is no lamination. It’s perfect for a special party, a corporate meeting, a few years of classroom use, or for use with older children.

Decide What Size Best Suits Your Needs:

Bingo games come in three sizes:

10 Card  (At-Home) Bingo Set: Enough to play with a small group. 10 bingo cards.

20 Card  (Small Class) Bingo Set: The right size for a small class or at a meeting. 20 bingo cards
